Facilitators: Tasnim Fernandez and Neil Douglas-Klotz.

Venue: Allanton Peace Sanctuary, Auldgirth, Dumfries, DG2 0RY.
Dates:  Thursday 23 April - Sunday 26 April 2020.
Times: Retreat begins on Thursday 23 April 2020 at 6.30pm with dinner and finishes on Sunday 26 April 2020 with lunch.
Event Description: A special retreat of Dances of Universal Peace, walking meditation, spiritual practice, sohbet (spiritual discussion), chant, zikr and contemplation with the two founders of the international Dances of Universal Peace network.

“This is an invaluable opportunity to be with the Rev. Tasnim Fernandez, for the first time leading a retreat with me in the UK. There is a reason why we were able to start the whole Dances of Universal Peace network without status, money or power. That reason is transmission. When the transmission of the Dances and Walks wanted to be expressed in a new way, with new people, with spreading roots, Tasnim uniquely and solely was there. Roots don’t possess, they carry nourishment. Transmission doesn’t stop and hold things, it transmits. Together we will explore the challenges and blessings of the path–no matter which variety we follow–and our relationships with all beings.” – Neil

“In June 1971 I was received onto the Sufi path. My wildest dreams could not have foretold of the experiences and travels that have graced my life in tasawwuf. I seek the root of the root, the real self. I am grateful to share from the fullness of my experience any encouragement or inspiration that may be of service. I aim to let the spirit guide us as we, using ‘that which appears behind that which transpires’ explore the ineffable Presence of that which is constantly, silently transpiring.” – Tasnim

“Do not look at my outward shape, but take what is in my hand…” – Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi
