Event: 2-Day Retreat: Uncovering the Essence: A Journey of Spiritual Awakening.

Time: Registration: 9.30am-10am. Retreat Days: 10am-5pm.
Event Description: Spiritual psychologist Dr. Steve Taylor will guide you through a weekend of exercises, meditations, and discussion designed to put you in contact with the spiritual essence of your being. Using some of Steve's poetic writings as a guide, we will experience the peace and harmony of our true nature. In particular, we will focus on dissolving our attachment to external things and realizing an inner state of freedom that is independent of anything external. We will also explore the link between presence and creativity, and focus on freedom from fear of death.

Steve Taylor PhD is a senior lecturer in psychology at Leeds Beckett University. He is the chair of the Transpersonal Psychology Section of the British Psychological Society. For the last seven years, Steve has been included in Mind, Body, Spirit magazine’s list of the ‘100 most spiritually influential living people.’ His books include Waking From Sleep, The Fall, Out of the Darkness, Back to Sanity, and The Leap. His books have been published in 20  languages, while his articles and essays have been published in over 50 academic journals, magazines, and newspapers. His new book The Clear Light will be published by Eckhart Tolle in 2020.  

Steve has a Ph.D. in transpersonal psychology and lectures at Leeds Beckett University. He lives in Manchester, England, with his wife and three young children. www.stevenmtaylor.com
