Event: Online Zoom Workshop:
Exploring the Practices of the Realization Process.
Facilitator: Cindy Cunningham.
Date: Sunday 21 March 2021.
Time: Workshop: 5pm-8pm.
Event Description: ‘To love life, and in particular, to love other human beings, is one of the central ideals of every spiritual tradition. It is also one of life’s greatest challenges. It requires the ability for true contact. And contact requires us to be authentic and deeply in touch with ourselves.’
Judith Blackstone, Realization Process founder, extract from The Intimate Life.
The Realization Process uses a series of precise inward attunement practices to open us to an experience of being made of a very subtle, unified ground of consciousness, a ground of being. This inward contact allows us to experience life from an embodied perspective, and cultivates qualities of authentic responsiveness, openness, depth, and steadiness.
In this workshop we will explore the main practices of the Realization Process, using sitting, standing and movement exercises to help us open to a unified ground of consciousness pervading our whole body and environment at the same time. These subtle attunements are all guided, and between exercises there will be time for questions, processing and inner exploration of our holding patterns. This approach requires a willingness to refine your focus and make inward contact with yourself inside your body.
All are welcome, suitable for beginners as well as more experienced meditators.
