Event: Day Conference and Evening Cultural Celebration: Thomas Merton's Engaged Spirituality:
Artistic, Political, Psychological and Interspiritual Expressions.

Event Description: The purpose of this conference is to:

1. learn about and explore aspects of Thomas Merton's life and thought;

2. provide a forum for networking among those who are interested in aspects of Thomas Merton's life and thought;

3. facilitate open and mutually respectful enquiry and communication among scholars and the wider public regarding aspects of Thomas Merton's life and thought.
