Our Next Event

Event: 2-Day Retreat: Céile Dé - A Living Celtic Spiritual Tradition -
A path formed from the soil and soul of Scotland and Ireland.

Facilitator: Sister Fionntulach, supported by Marion Wilson.
Venue: Skye Room, Gillis Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh, EH9 1BB.
Dates: Saturday 3 - Sunday 4 December 2016.
Time: Registration: 9.30am-10am. Retreat Days: 10am-5pm.
Event Description: This ancient Celtic, Esoteric Christian path is lyrical, mythopoeic and deeply devotional. It seeks balance at all times between the need for earthly, psychological and mystical development. It has at its heart a deep faith in the transformative power of Love.

Our time together will include:-

Regular meditation practices both days
Learn ancient Gaelic sacred chants and prayers
Spiritual practices for inner transformation
Finding inspiration and teachings in Celtic Myth
There will be a simple Advent ceremony on the Sunday

ONGOING COMMUNITY :
Newcomers will have the opportunity to consider joining one of our Céile Dé groups in the Edinburgh and Stirling area, offering a powerful container for those seeking a path that invites commitment and openness to real inner change.

Sr. Fionntulach belongs to the Céili Dé (The Servants or Spouses of God), a Celtic Christian spiritual Order based in Scotland.

She is both a teacher of the tradition and an Anam Chara (‘Soul Friend’ or Spiritual Guide). Her life is divided between leading a contemplative life, serving her community and giving teachings to the growing community, both in Europe and in the USA, who feel called to walk the Céile Dé Path in these times.

Sister Fionn, as most people call her, describes the Céile Dé tradition as “a glorious blend of Celtic reverence for Nature, disciplined practice, great beauty and Christ-consciousness - the transformative power of Love.”

Marion Wilson has been following the Céile Dé Tradition for about 7 years. She is a member of the longest-standing Céile Dé group in Scotland.

She teaches the Foundational teachings and loves sharing the beautiful teachings with newcomers. Serving the Céile Dé community in whatever way she can is a joy and a privilege.

2-Day Retreat: Céile Dé

Cost: £60/£45 (Concessions).
