Event: 2-Day Retreat: Living with Dying.

Facilitator: Sister Ajahn Candasiri.
Venue: Water of Leith Visitor Centre, 24 Lanark Road, Edinburgh. EH14 1TQ.
Dates: Saturday 24 - Sunday 25 June 2017.
Time: Registration: 9.30am-10am. Retreat: 10am-5pm.
Event Description: Living with Dying - a two day retreat for both beginners and experienced practitioners of any faith or none.

All of us are born, live out our lives and, at some point, die.

During these two days we will use the teachings, ceremonies and meditative practices of Theravada Buddhism to investigate the mysterious experience of living, in order to prepare for the even more mysterious experience of dying.

Please bring along your own packed lunch.

There is no charge for the teaching but a donation of £50/£40 (Concessions)/£20 (Students) to cover basic expenses would be appreciated. There will also be an opportunity for those who wish to make a donation towards the running costs of Milntuim Hermitage.

Sister Ajahn Candasiri was born in Edinburgh in 1947 and, having been raised as an Episcopalian, has been ordained within the Thai Forest Sangha community of Ven Ajahn Chah for 37 years. Currently, she lives in a small hermitage in Perthshire that she is preparing as a resource for nuns of the Amaravati and Chithurst Monasteries in England.
